According to NCLB Bob Courtway Middle School is in Whole School Improvement Year 5 for literacy based on the 7th and 8th Grade Benchmark Exam given each spring. No school choice is available at this time as both middle schools are in school improvement. Students at BCMS are receiving consistent and comprehensive literacy intervention. The school has the services of a literacy and math specialists and all English and Math teachers are highly qualified. Bob Courtway Middle School is in Whole School Improvement Year 5 for literacy in the Students with Disabilities and African-American subpopulations, and in math for Students with Disabilities subpopulation.
