Students at Carolyn Lewis Elementary School end Black History Month with a special program. Ms. Honey and Ms. McDaniel exemplified the month's character trait of "synergy" as they worked together to present a program titled, "The ABCs of Black History." Twenty-six students participated in the program by sharing contributions that African-Americans have made to our nation. "It was a wonderful time of learning and inspiration for everyone there" said Principal Tina Antley, "and a great example of teamwork by everyone as well."
