These two days will allow students to “meet & greet” the staff, talk to teachers and coordinators, pick up current class schedules, learn about programs of interest, and tour the facility if they choose.
All program assessments, testing, and actual classroom instruction, will begin on Wednesday, August 19. Open enrollment will continue all semester for those students who are unable to attend early registration. No appointments are necessary, however, students must be 18 years or older to register.
Among CAEC programs & services offered this semester, will be the GED Credential, English as a Second Language, WAGE Certification & Employment Skills Training, Career Coaching, Math and Writing Skills for today’s job market, and Computer Courses and Workshops. Industry classes are also formed at employer request.
The Conway Adult Education Center offers students everything they need to jumpstart or continue their education! They can achieve what they need absolutely FREE or low cost. CAEC staff gives students the personal attention they need to succeed and the flexibility to stay motivated & focused on their educational or employment goals.
As a reminder for GED students, the GED Exam is only $16 (all four tests). Students may be eligible for vouchers to cover all costs for the GED Practice Tests, as well as the actual GED.
