Conway Public Schools has named Springdale Har-Ber Assistant Keith Fimple as the new Head Football Coach for the Wampus Cats.
Defensive Coordinator at Har-Ber for the last 4 years, Fimple has coached in the State Championship game 5 times in his career.
New Conway Athletic Director Clint Ashcraft says Coach Fimple will grow our students on and off the field.
“We are very excited about Coach Fimple taking over the football program at Conway High School,” says Ashcraft. “His passion for student athletes is highly evident even after spending just a short amount of time with him.”
Ashcraft introduced Fimple to the team Monday afternoon following his final interview.
Superintendent Dr. Greg Murry says the district will begin his transition to Conway as soon as they can.
“I believe that Keith Fimple will be an outstanding head football coach for our team,” says Murry. “We look forward to seeing our program get better and better under Coach Fimple’s leadership.”
Fimple has been coaching for 21 years, spending time not only at Springdale Har-Ber but also Henderson State University, El Dorado, Fort Smith Southside, and Fayetteville.
