Third grade students at Ida Burns knew "Peeps" candy was good to eat, but they now know a little bit more about them.
They used the multi-colored marshmallow candy for a science experiment.
Mrs. Church’s third grade class used the scientific method to determine what happens to Peeps candy when placed into various liquids. They formed a hypothesis and tested it out using a variety of variables.
The liquids included Sprite, and Vinegar and Baking Soda.
Conclusion: Learning with Easter Candy is pretty cool!
