Students at Theodore Jones have joined with 29,000 other schools nationwide to raise money to help fight blood cancers like Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myloma. They have set a school goal of $300, but have already raised $689 in just two days!
Principal Tammy Woosley says her students are so thrilled to be able to help others in this effort. "We had one fourth grader who donated her weekly allowance to help this great cause."
The project is called Pennies for Patients. The school will continue to collect money through March 20.
