Student Health Services
All students entering the seventh grade will require proof of having had a Tdap (Tetanus, Diptheria, Pertussis) vaccine. If your child did not participate in the school Tdap clinic in May, then your child will need to provide proof of having had the Tdap vaccine within the last 2 years. Please turn your shot record into the school office before the first day of school.
The Faulkner County Health Department can make appointments up to 5 days in advance for immunizations. For same day scheduling please call at 8:00 on the day the appointment is needed. The telephone number is (501) 450-4941.

The purpose of the school health services is to protect, maintain, and improve the health of Conway Public School students. Students and staff are encouraged to take advantage of the available school health services.
Role of the School Nurse
The professional school nurse employed by the Conway Public School District, works to strengthen and facilitate the educational process by improving and protecting the health status of children and by modification of health related barriers to the learning process of individual children. The major focus of school nursing services is the prevention of illness and disability, the early detection and correction of health problems, and motivation of good and positive health practices.
