Chad Longing is beginning his 26^th year in education, 22 of them here in Conway.  Chad has spent the majority of his teaching and coaching career in the field of special education while being a head coach for the Conway High Lady Cat Softball team.
  

Chad graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with his undergraduate degree in Special Education in the spring of 1996 with his coaching endorsement as well.  He completed his graduate degree from Harding University in Educational Leadership in 2008.
  
Throughout his career,  Chad has served as Assistant Supervisor of Transportation and Career Development teacher, along with teaching special education and coaching several different sports.a

 

Chad has been married for 24 years to his wife Maria and has two boys by the names of Gus (20) and Max (17).
