Teaching in CPSD...

  • Conway Public School District is the 9th largest district in the state, with the 4th highest average teacher salary. We work hard to attract the best applicants to teach here in our district, because our students deserve the best.

In the last 5 years, our District Teacher of the Year has been a regional finalist 4 times and a state finalist 3 times for the Arkansas State Teacher of the Year. In 2019, CPSD Teacher of the Year Randi House was chosen as the Arkansas Teacher of the Year. We are very proud of our Conway Public Schools teachers!

Conway Public Schools "Top Teacher" for 2020

  • Henderson Named District Teacher of the Year

When Susan Henderson opened her front door, she worried maybe something was wrong. The Ellen Smith teacher of the year was shocked to have Dr. Murry and her administrators visit her home during the COVID-19 quarantine. But the school leaders had some good news for her. "Congratulations on being named Conway Schools' District Teacher of the Year!" CPSD is so proud of Mrs. Henderson for her work in our district. She will represent us well as our 2021 District Teacher of the Year.
