Parents At Work
PAWS is the name of the PTO program at CJHS. PAWS stands for Parents Assisting With Students. This program is a way for the parents of our students to be more involved in school events, the education of their children, and a way to get to know the teachers and staff on a more personal level. The PAWS program assists with several programs including the Open House/ Block party that was hosted this year on the CJHS practice field. The PAWS program is also supportive of our sports on campus, our academic clubs and programs, as well as with our student organizations and our fine arts programs. The PAWS program is a major contributor to our schools teacher appreciation program and week each year.
We encourage any that would like to be a part or assist with the PAWS program to reach out to the PAWS president Shakirah Warren at scswarren@gmail.com. The PAWS program also has a Remind link https://www.remind.com/join/paws20212 to keep updated with current events hosted by or at the school.
You may also contact Pam Ferguson (assistant principal) fergusonp@conwayschools.net or Lydia Hardin (parent involvement coordinator) hardinly@conwayschools.net for further information on this program.
