Good evening, Carl Stuart Middle School Middle School onsite students and families! Just a reminder about our onsite student schedule pick-up event on Thursday, August 6 and Friday August 7, from 8:30am-4:00pm each day in the CSMS Cafeteria for our onsite students. We ask that families park in the BACK PARKING AREA BEHIND CARL STUART and enter the cafeteria from the side entrances. We are providing 30 minute slots that you and your student may come to the school to obtain a schedule, a Chromebook, and a car rider tag if needed; purchase a locker rental ($5), planner ($5), a Chromebook Protection Plan ($20) and/or a yearbook from last spring ($35); take a self-guided tour of the campus; and decorate your student's locker. Many of you have already signed up using the Sign-Up Genius: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0e48a4ad2fa7f94-csms3. Please note that you must complete the registration process in Registration Gateway prior to coming to the Schedule Pick-Up Event. You will also need to bring with you at least one proof of residency from the sources listed below:
ACCEPTABLE PROOFS OF RESIDENCY
Gas or electric bill for the latest month
Deed to home
Rent receipt for latest month
Property tax bill
Phone bill (NOT cell phone)
Deposit receipt for gas, electric, phone service start-up (not cell phones), cable, or AFDC correspondence (i.e. welfare check, food stamps, etc.)
Also, please note that facial protection is required to be worn at all times during the Schedule Pick-Up Event, and no person will be permitted in the building if they have any symptoms of COVID-19, including, but not limited to, a temperature above 100.4, coughing or respiratory distress, loss of taste or smell, etc.
For those that are planning to rent and decorate a locker, please note that all locker decorations must be affixed using magnets. You may not apply any form of adhesive (stickers, glue, tape, etc.) to the surface of the locker. Also, please note that all locker decorations must be placed inside the locker only. No outside decorations are permitted.

To help our students and families acclimate back into the school environment and learn new health and safety procedures in place at our school buildings, and to give teachers additional time to support individual students, Conway Public Schools will begin the 2020-21 School Year with a staggered start.
Only students whose last name begins with the letter(s) A-M will come to school on August 24th.
Only students whose last name begins with the letter(s) N-Z will come to school on August 25th.
All students will attend school on August 26th.
If students reside in the same household but have different last names, the principal will make all accommodations necessary to assist those families. Please contact your school if you have questions or need assistance.
During the first two days of school, teachers and staff will work with students to ensure the following:
Students have the technology and resources for use at home and at school.
Students receive support from the teacher to learn how to use the Learning Management System (Seesaw K-4; Schoology 5-12).
Students understand the protocols and procedures put in place for PPE usage and compliance with distancing and other guidelines from the Departments of Health and Education.
Good morning, CSMS 5th Grade Families! We are excited to welcome our new 5th grade students to Carl Stuart Middle School in three short weeks. In order to prepare your student for transition to middle school, we have put together a virtual Cat Camp. Below is a link to a document that contains videos about CSMS including tours of facilities, daily schedule, processes for arrival and dismissal, expectations for behavior, locker procedures, etc. We encourage you to share this document with your student and access the videos on your own timeframe. If you have any questions, please contact the school at your earliest convenience. It is now time for our “Returning Student Registration,” where we ask you to update your information for the 2020-21 School Year! “Annual Required Forms” are now available online here https://ar50000572.schoolwires.net/Page/277 for returning students in grades 1-12. Please login and complete these forms now. Completion of the forms is required- for students in both the virtual and onsite learning environments- to begin the 2020-21 school year.
You will need your CPSD login and password to complete the Annual Required Forms. This information has been emailed to you if we have your correct email address. If you do not have your login, or you need other assistance, please call your child’s school where someone will be available to help you.
Annual Required Forms should be completed for all students prior to the first day of school. Students will not be able to use computers or have access to digital learning platforms until parents have signed the mandatory usage agreements found in returning registration.
