Mrs. New is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University and the University of Texas at Arlington. She worked as an Assistant Principal at Preston and Florence Mattison Elementary School before coming to Vann as Principal in 2022.

She enjoys reading, shopping, and attending sporting events with her husband and three sons.

Matt Coatney is the assistant principal at Marguerite Vann Elementary. He has been in education since 2011.

Mr. Coatney graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor’s in education and a Master’s degree in school leadership. He has taught Kindergarten, 2^nd grade, and 4^th grade. In his free time, he loves spending time with his family and playing games.
