A Wampus Cat Alum, Holly King began teaching in Conway Public Schools in 2007. She has been the Assistant Principal at Julia Lee Moore and here at Ellen Smith. In 2019 Mrs. King become our school principal where she works hard serving students and their families. Mrs. King loves to run and spend time with her husband and three children.

Mrs. Carter graduated from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff with her bachelors in Elementary Education and received her masters in School Leadership from University of Central Arkansas. She has more than 25 years of experience in education. She taught 4th - 8th grade, and was a Literacy Coach before coming to Conway Public School District. She has been an Assistant Principal in the Conway School district since 2013.  She is married with two children. She loves spending time with her family and loved ones for celebrations and holidays, traveling and binge-watching her favorite shows.
