Asian Club
Asian Club provides an inclusive and safe zone where students have fun, make new friends, and discover the multifaceted culture of Asia at Conway Junior High School. Our goal is to promote cross-cultural understanding and positive relationships amongst students of all backgrounds. This is a student-centered club, and all meeting topics and activities will be determined by group members. All students are welcome to join regardless of cultural background or ethnicity.

Art Club
This organization is affiliated with the Arkansas Young Artist Association. Its purpose is to provide opportunity for study and practice of drawing, painting, crafts, and the appreciation of the arts. Art Club provides opportunities for students to share creative ability with each other and to exhibit creations. CHS students are eligible for membership if they are currently enrolled in an art class or have completed one year of high school art.

Band
The CHS Band works toward the presentation of music to the greatest possible number of students and specialized training of those who are talented and have a particular interest in music. The band strives to present the highest type of music, both classical and contemporary, for the training of its members and the enjoyment of its audiences. The band performs at all home football games and usually makes two or three trips to out of town games. The band also enters one or two marching contests each year as well as region and state concert contests and solo-ensemble contests. It is well represented in the All-Region and All-State Bands each year. The band presents at least three (3) public concerts per year, and its members provide entertainment for various club meetings and other activities. The CHS Band meets daily during a regular class period with marching rehearsals and sectionals before and after school whenever necessary.

Chamber Singers (Madrigals)
The Chamber Singers is a select group of mixed voices which performs a wide variety of choral music with special emphasis on early madrigals up to and including contemporary chamber type music. Membership is limited to fourteen to eighteen singers who audition. A prerequisite is membership in the Concert Choir. The Conway High School Chamber singers meet before and after school as necessary.

Cheerleaders
School spirit is promoted at CJHS by cheerleaders. The primary goal for spirit teams is to promote school spirit in the school and at athletic events. Members of the spirit teams follow the CPS Athletic Handbook and AACCA Safety guidelines. Try-outs are in the spring.

Choir
The CHS Choral Department includes a Concert Choir consisting of a Concert Choir and Girls Ensemble. The choral group presents public concerts and school assembly programs during the year and performs at regional and state festivals. Choir members participate on an individual basis in the All-Region and All-State choirs each year. The choral program offers students interested in vocal music a variety of singing experiences.

Conway Junior High School Intramural Activities
Intramurals at CJHS are conducted during each lunch period. All students are eligible to participate. Having good sportsmanship, positive attitude, and fun are the goals of the program. All students at CHS are eligible to participate in the intramural program. However, students already participating in varsity sports, such as football, basketball, and track shall not be eligible to participate in that particular intramural sport. Teams will be made up from members of organized clubs, physical education classes, and independent teams.

Dance Team
Ninth grade has one (1) dance team with tryouts from four Conway middle schools and cheers at all home 9th grade games. The primary goal for spirit teams is to promote school spirit in the school and at athletic events. Members of the spirit teams follow the CPS Athletic Handbook and AACCA Safety guidelines. Try-outs are in the spring.

Drama Club
Drama Club is designed to promote the appreciation of and participation in all areas of theatre arts. Membership is open to all members of CHS.

F.C.C.L.A.
F.C.C.L.A is a national organization of girls and boys studying family and consumer science in junior and senior high school. The objective is to help improve personal, family, and community living. Activities focus on individual growth, the family, education, development of occupational competencies, preparation for marriage and careers, and the youth's role in society and the world. As a chapter of the national organization, the school organization elects its own officers appoints committees, and plans and carries out its program of work.

F.F.A.
Future Farmers of America is an intracurricular student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership. It is one of the three components of agricultural educaton. FFA is not just for student who want to be production farmers; FFA also welcomes members who aspire to careers as teachers, doctors, scientists, business owners and more. FFA is committed to the individual student, providing a path to achievement in premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

FBLA
(Future Business Leaders of America) is a national, vocational student organization for students in middle school through high school. FBLA provides the business leaders of tomorrow with necessary skills to successfully compete in the job markert, pursue postsecondary education, and manage personal skills.

Forensics Club
The Forensics Club is an organization where students participate in tournament competition on an extra curricular basis. Students practice and perform in various areas of speech delivery such as debate, poetry, prose, acting, extemporaneous speaking and original oratory. The club attends various tournaments in the state.
