Conway Public Schools Names New Superintendent

Mr. Jeff Collum

Mr. Jeff Collum will become the new Superintendent for the Conway Public Schools in the Summer of 2021. Collum will replace Dr. Greg Murry after his retirement in June.

Mr. Collum has been working as a school Superintendent for the last nine years- currently in Hallsville (TX) ISD. He was previously Superintendent in Benton, Arkansas. Before becoming a Superintendent, Collum was the Executive Director of Secondary Education in Tyler, (TX) ISD. He has also worked as a High School Principal, Assistant Principal, Teacher, and Coach in other Texas school districts. He has 15 years of administrative experience.

Jeff Collum is well-known throughout the nation for his work and insight on school safety initiatives. He has strong experience in school finance, technology, and virtual learning. Peers say he has a positive personality and a progressive mindset. Jeff Collum has been named “Administrator of the Year” twice- in Texas in 2010 and again in Arkansas in 2014.

Jeff Collum is a Texas native. He and his wife, Cara, currently live in Longview, Texas with their three sons.
