Mical "Mimi" Johnson has dedicated 24 years to education, including the last five at CJHS. Originally from Canton, Ohio, she made her move to Conway, Arkansas in 2016. Throughout her career, Ms. Johnson has taught a range of subjects, including Language Arts, Science, and ALE, but her primary focus has been on Mathematics. Her experience as a basketball and volleyball coach has greatly influenced her teaching style, and she now sees herself as a “coach of mathematics”.

Ms. Johnson served in the United States Air Force from 1994 to 1998 and earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Walsh University (Ohio) in 2000. She furthered her education by completing a graduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Ashland University (Ohio) in 2005. Currently, she is pursuing certification in ESL (English as a Second Language) at the University of Central Arkansas.
