2024-2025 PRE-K REGISTRATION

What are the steps for Registration?

  • Pick up an application from the Sallie Cone office Monday-Friday between the hours of 9 am – 2 pm.

  • Complete the application and collect all required documents

  • Return the completed application and the required documents to Sallie Cone Monday-Friday between the hours of 9 am – 2 pm.

  • Once you receive an acceptance letter in the mail from Sallie Cone, visit our Powerschool online portal to complete the registration process.

    • IMPORTANT: Please only do the online registration once you have been approved. Portal entries are not valid if your packet has not been approved by Sallie Cone. 

What documents are required for Registration?

  • Birth Certificate

  • Social Security Card

  • Shot Record

  • Most recent Well Child Doctor visit (request from Doctor)

  • A Utility Bill, Rent Agreement, or a service to homeRecent check stubs (30 days’ pay or 2022 taxes)

SALLIE CONE PRESCHOOL QUALIFICATIONS

Preschool slots are funded through either the Arkansas Better Chance for School Success or the Child Care Development Fund. Each funding source has different qualifications. Once a family has filled out the preschool application, we will assign you to the funding source best suited for your situation. Please call our office with any questions you might have at 501-450-6693.

The basic qualifications include:

  • AGE- to be eligible for the 3-year-old program, the child will need to be 3 by December 31, 2022. To be eligible for the 4-year-old program, the child will need to be 4 by August 1st.  

  • RESIDENCE –the child must reside within the Conway Public Schools district.

  • INCOME –the household earned income must not exceed the limit set by the funding source.

The ABCSS program limits households to 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.

CCDF requires at least one parent to be working 30 hours/week or more or be enrolled in 12 hours/week of school or more or a combination of work and school.
