RDMS Announcements

  • RDMS: Interim Progress Reports will be handed out during 5th-period on Tuesday, September 14.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, September 15-16 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm each night. Conferences will be held in each teacher's classroom. Parents will move through the hallways to each classroom. Please look for RDMS/WELCOME flags and enter through our southwest entrance just to the left of the front office. We will have a student schedule station set up in that entrance along with copies of the campus map so that parents will be able to move to classrooms as needed. Masks are required to be worn by anyone inside the building during PT conferences, including students, teachers, staff, and parents.

  • Because CPSD remains in the “Red” status for community transmission of COVID-19, face masks will be required for anyone attending Parent-Teacher conferences at our schools this week. We appreciate your cooperation and support as we make this decision for the health and safety of our staff, students and families.

  • Monday, August 16th is the first day of school for the Conway Public School District. Our teachers and staff are very excited to see all our students and get this school year started!
Information regarding COVID-19 and our district protocols can be found on our website- www.conwayschools.org/cpsdcovid. This page will be continually updated with the latest information.
We are using a “stoplight system” to alert parents about current community transmission status and what actions CPSD is taking regarding masking. We are currently in the RED zone, so masks are required for all students and staff during the school day and on buses. Please be sure your student has a mask for school on Monday.
Check your school’s website and Facebook page for additional Back to School information.

  • The Conway School Board has approved a resolution that will mandate mask wearing for all students and staff during the school day and on buses. The mandate is effective immediately, and can be adjusted based on the CDC’s community transmission status for COVID. More specific details and protocols will be available this week on our website: www.conwayschools.org/cpsdcovid

  • Conway Public Schools will return to offering onsite instruction only for the 2021-22 school year. The district will not offer a virtual option for CPSD students.

All current CPSD students (virtual or onsite) will complete next year’s registration in July. You will receive a message when it’s time for returning registration. Nothing else needs to be done at this time.

If you would like your child to attend school virtually for 2021-22, options are available outside of CPSD. We have linked some information on our website under "Find it Fast." Click on "2021-22 Instruction."

Please keep in mind these are separate and independent educational agencies not affiliated with Conway Public Schools. Choosing one of these options is similar to transferring to/from another school district. Students enrolled in these academies will not have CPSD teachers or curriculum because they are no longer Conway Schools students.  Students may re-enroll in CPSD when they are ready to return onsite.

Conway Public Schools believes onsite learning is what is best for our students next year. As always, we are committed to providing a safe and caring environment where all students can learn each day.
