  • Because we have seen an increase in the number of COVID cases and those who have had to be quarantined as a result of exposure, all THIRD GRADE STUDENTS at Preston and Florence Mattison Elementary School will remain home next week, Monday August 30th- Friday September 3rd.

Third graders will work on virtual assignments- found in the Seesaw online platform- while at home for the next week. If your student does not have their Chromebook or is unable to get online, they will be able to make up the assignments when they return to school.

Meal boxes will be available for third grade students to pick up Monday morning August 30th from 9-10 am at the Food Service Warehouse. (1902 Hairston)

Thank you for your support and cooperation as we make this decision in the best interest of our staff and our students. Please help us by not sending your student to school if they exhibit any COVID-like symptoms or are awaiting test results. Thank you.

  • Monday, August 16th is the first day of school for the Conway Public School District. Our teachers and staff are very excited to see all our students and get this school year started!
Information regarding COVID-19 and our district protocols can be found on our website- This page will be continually updated with the latest information.
We are using a “stoplight system” to alert parents about current community transmission status and what actions CPSD is taking regarding masking. We are currently in the RED zone, so masks are required for all students and staff during the school day and on buses. Please be sure your student has a mask for school on Monday.
Check your school’s website and Facebook page for additional Back to School information.
