INFORMATION RELEASE TO PUBLIC: Regarding CPSD Board Meetings
Dear Conway Community Members, To keep our board meetings safe, effective, and free from disruption we will allow only the maximum number of attendees per city fire code. There will be no loitering in the hallways outside of the board room. Any patrons who cause disruptions will be asked to leave the facilities immediately. Once the board meeting room is at maximum capacity, the doors will be closed for safety purposes. (Maximum capacity per city fire code is 59 attendees)
Please see the statue here regarding board meeting capacity: § 6-13-632. Adequate meeting facilities required a. (b) If a single room is not large enough or adequate to accommodate individuals with disabilities and the number of patrons who attend, the board of directors shall utilize closed-circuit television or other means which will assure full participation by all in attendance.
The meeting will also be available for live viewing at the link below. Board meetings will continue to be both audio and video recorded for public view. Please note that public comment will resume at the January 2023 board meeting in accordance with Policy 1.14 once reviewed and adopted by the board.
