CSMS Announcements 1.11.2021
Second semester virtual packets for students are ready for pick-up in bins outside the front of the building at any time. 5th grade packets include reading and math materials. 6th grade and 7th grade only have one math book to retrieve, so those are loosely placed in the bin. Virtual patrons should secure one for each virtual student by corresponding grade level.

Congratulations to Madeline M. in Grade 6 for being selected to represent all Conway Middle Schools in the statewide Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay Contest sponsored by the Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission, Sam’s Club, and Walmart. Madeline’s essay was selected by a district-wide committee to represent our district’s Grade 6-8 students in the statewide competition. Great work, Madeline! We hope you will win the statewide competition, too!

Blended Learning Friday, January 15 - “Blended Fridays” give parents/students the option of learning from home or school. Students who choose to learn from home on Fridays will not be counted absent. Instruction on blended Fridays will be 100% virtual. These are catch-up days for teachers and students: there will be no new content taught or major assessments given.

Students should bring their assigned Chromebook to school fully charged and with earbuds or headphones. Charging cords should be brought and stored in backpack in case they are needed.
