Conway Wampus Cats Unite to Spread  Holiday Joy through  Acts of Generosity

The spirit of giving is flourishing within the Conway Wampus Cats community as various schools and organizations embark on initiatives to spread warmth and joy during this festive season. From sponsoring Christmas presents to organizing food drives, the Wampus Cats are making a significant impact on the lives of those less fortunate.

Conway Junior High's Cat Nation Christmas is leading the way by sponsoring Christmas presents for 25 students in a heartwarming school-wide initiative. The commitment to ensuring a joyous holiday season for fellow students exemplifies the spirit of compassion within the Conway Junior High community.

At Carl Stuart Middle School (CSMS), the generosity knows no bounds. The school is hosting a MobilePack event in partnership with Tacos4Life, with the ambitious goal of packing 100,000 meals. This collaborative effort aims to combat hunger and make a significant impact on the lives of those in need.

But that's not all—CSMS has also raised over $1,600 (equivalent to 60 presents) for the City of Hope Christmas Mall. In partnership with Dr. Phillip Fletcher, the school supports a mission dedicated to enhancing the lives of children in the community. Additionally, CSMS organized a food drive for The Soul Food Cafe, further demonstrating their commitment to addressing food insecurity in the local area.

Courtway Middle School is contributing to the holiday spirit by organizing an Angel Tree program, allowing students and staff to make the season brighter for their peers. The school's choir is also playing its part by collecting canned goods for The Soul Food Cafe, contributing to the fight against hunger in the community.

Ida Burns  Elementary School is showcasing its commitment to the community by collecting items for the Humane Society of Faulkner County. The students' dedication to supporting local organizations reflects the caring spirit that defines the Conway Wampus Cats community.

Julia Lee Moore Elementary School is engaging students across various grades in charitable efforts. Grades 1, 2, and 4 are collecting food for the backpack food program, ensuring that no child goes hungry during the holidays. The 3rd-grade class is spreading joy to the elderly by collecting items for the Village Park Nursing Home.

Marguerite Vann Elementary School is partnering with Salem Place Nursing Home, where students are busy packing gift bags for the residents. This thoughtful initiative aims to bring joy and comfort to those of all ages.

Conway High School is making waves with the AngelPaws fundraiser, providing Christmas presents for students district-wide. Caring Cats, a student organization, recently held a collection drive, while CHS Faculty organized a hygiene drive for Angel Paws, demonstrating the school's commitment to giving back to the community.

Adding to the heartwarming efforts, the Conway High Young Feminine Alliance sponsored Christmas presents for a Courtway Middle School family, showcasing the interconnectedness of the Wampus Cats community.

Simon Middle School's Kiwanis Builder's Club made significant strides in November by creating collection boxes around the school for a friendly competition to collect warm items for Bethlehem House in Conway. The school collectively gathered over 200 items to donate, embodying the spirit of unity and goodwill.

Carolyn Lewis  Elementary School, in collaboration with the Blossoms Community service project, has served an impressive 196 seniors. The dedication to the Blossoms project ensures that no one is left out of the holiday spirit, emphasizing the importance of community service.
