The Conway High School Music Department recognized eleven recently-graduated seniors at the fifth annual Music Scholarship Signing on Monday, May 18th at the James H. Clark Auditorium on the Conway High School campus. The students honored were: Ann Al-Uraiby, Bowen Christopher Cathcart, Fisher Kravitz, Addison Leach, Keira Manning, Canadee Mosley, August Nabholz, Amari Norment, Rebekah Pendergraft, Sarah Reynolds, and Hadassah Dawn Smith. Together they are earning a combined $152,000 in scholarships to continue their music study in college! In addition to the students and their families, CPSD Board Member Ashley Lyon was also in attendance. Nathan Cunningham, Conway HS head band director; Kayla White, CHS Choir director; and Casey Buck, CHS Orchestra Director, presented certificates to their respective students.
“We are so proud of all they’ve already accomplished in their music, and what they’ll continue to do in college,” said Cunningham.
