A group of 24 of our 5th, 6th, and 7th graders chose to honor our Veterans during their WIN session. They worked together to create a beautiful class display and wrote heartfelt thank-you notes for their service. Students also annotated an article about the history of Veterans Day, and each part of the display was individually colored, coming together as a meaningful tribute to those who have served. 🇺🇸💙 #CWAYisTheWay #ChampionsForKids #WeAreConway

Congratulations to 7th grade violinist Ling Xi Umanzor, who made 12th chair 2nd violin at the Arkansas South Region Orchestra auditions on Saturday, October 11th. She earned a spot in the Junior High Concert Orchestra, competing against other 7th, 8th, and 9th graders from all over southern and central Arkansas! Ling Xi will attend the South Region Orchestra clinic on November 7-8, working with a guest clinician and the top musicians across the region. Way to go, orchestra!

Mrs. Dube's & Mrs. Wicker's students brought their personal narratives to life last week! They wrote narrative essays using techniques such as -ly openers, hooks, and dialogue to pull us into a scary moment in their lives — a perfect way to celebrate Halloween in writing class. Conway Public Schools, in partnership with the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce and Conway Development Corporation, has launched a Strategic Planning Steering Committee to help guide our district through 2026 and beyond.
We’re working with the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute (WRI) to gather input from parents, students, staff, local employers, and community members. Your feedback will help us understand what’s working well, where we can improve, and how we can best prepare Conway students for lifelong success.
Please note, the survey will close on November 30, so be sure to share your thoughts before then. This is an important opportunity for every parent to have a voice in shaping the future of Conway Public Schools. The feedback collected will inform both our Strategic Readiness Plan for 2025–2026 and the long-range strategic plan being developed by the Steering Committee.
