On May 1st the Courtway Middle School 6th and 7th grade band students participated in the ASBOA Region IX Solo and Ensemble. Students received feedback from the judges and many earned a Superior or Excellent medals. In total, the students earned 66 Superior (the highest rating) Medals and 16 Excellent Medals.

Beginner orchestra students Teondra S., violin, and Olivia E., cello, earned their black belts and completed their orchestra skill mastery challenges even after long days of ATLAS testing. Great job, ladies!!

Courtway Instrument Night is May 7th in the CMS cafeteria from 4:00-7:00. This is for beginning band students for the 24-25 school year. Students will have the opportunity to tryout multiple instruments.#ChampionsForKids #TeamCourtway
Our CMS All Grades Spring Dance is Thursday, May 2. It will be from 5:00-7:00. It will be $5 to get in, or $10 to get in, plus a slice of pizza, a drink, and a confetti popper. Students cannot have had ISS, OSS, or Saturday School this nine weeks. #ChampionsForKids #TeamCourtway
