Ms. Gomez's classes went to the library and completed various activities that go along with the book "'Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving". They sorted words based on parts of speech, compared fiction and nonfiction statements, unscrambled lines from the book, and got to create their own turkeys. #championsforkids #teamcourtway
Congratulations to the Courtway boys' basketball team for winning again Tuesday night and moving to 2-0 on the season. The boys defeated Vilonia 45-32 last Thursday, and last night they beat Cabot South 33-10.
The CMS girls' team won against Cabot South last night. They won 18-12.

During WIN time last week with Mr. Knouse, students competed to see who could make the fastest wind powered car using only the materials provided. Distance traveled and speed were used to determine the winner.

The Conway Public Schools Orchestra program presents its annual "La Fiesta Orquesta” event on Monday, November 13, featuring the nearly 300 students of the orchestra program in free concerts throughout the night in the James H. Clark Auditorium. In addition, a taco supper fundraiser is held in the Conway HS Cafeteria from 5-8 pm. Tickets to the dinner are on sale now and can be purchased from any orchestra student, and donations and ticket purchases can also be made online at conwayorch.square.site. This year we are partnering with Tacos4Life, so every meal purchased raises funds for the orchestra AND provides a meal to a person in need! We hope you’ll support these amazing students and come hear them play!!

Thursday, November 16 is DANCE DAY! 5th graders will have their dance during the day at no cost for entry. Concessions will be sold, so they can bring money for that. Our 6th & 7th grade dance will be Thursday evening from 5-7. Entry is $5 for the dance or students can pay $10 and get entrance to the dance, a slice of pizza, soda, and a glow stick.
