Members of the CJHS Choir Leadership performed the National Anthem at last night’s Blue/White Volleyball game. Now that their Fall competition season is done, our Choir will be performing frequently at ballgames.

FCCLA and FBLA attended the Arkansas Department of Education 6th Annual CTSO Day at the Arkansas State Fair. Career and Technical Student Organizations from across the state came together to promote the importance of Career and Technical Skills for our youth. #ContinuingTheLegacy

CJHS Choir students have been busy prepping for Region tryouts, but took a break this weekend to celebrate at the first ever ChoirFest, for all Conway choir kids grade 7-12. We had a blast celebrating these students and their hard work! #ContinuingTheLegacy

MARK YOUR CALENDERS! We have a pancake breakfast at Stoby's in Conway on Sunday October 8th from 8:00-1:00. Tickets are $6 and can be purchased at all lunches next week or at the door. Be on the lookout for tickets being sold at drop off next week too!


ALL kids have a voice!
Last Tuesday was "Talk Like A Pirate Day" and one of our SLP, Mrs. Hall, created an inclusion lesson for Mrs. G's class. Some students were able to answer comprehension questions through an ACC device! #ContinuingTheLegacy






Scholars in Ms. Hurlburt's classes worked in groups to determine the main idea of a paragraph. As a group they identified evidence and discussed why their evidence was important. Then a member from each group explained the main idea, evidence, and their explanation to the class. #ContinuingTheLegacy


IMPORTANT MESSAGE: CJHS Students were held in class this morning so First Responders could provide assistance to a student in medical need. There was neither a lockdown conducted nor needed. After student was transported, students were released to continue their day as scheduled.
