This Meeting will be led by K-12 Insights to share about feedback and data gathered from the district's focus groups from the Spring Semester. The Conway Public Schools Orchestra program presents its annual "La Fiesta Orquesta” event on Monday, November 13, featuring the nearly 300 students of the orchestra program in free concerts throughout the night in the James H. Clark Auditorium. In addition, a taco supper fundraiser is held in the Conway HS Cafeteria from 5-8 pm. Tickets to the dinner are on sale now and can be purchased from any orchestra student, and donations and ticket purchases can also be made online at conwayorch.square.site. This year we are partnering with Tacos4Life, so every meal purchased raises funds for the orchestra AND provides a meal to a person in need! We hope you’ll support these amazing students and come hear them play!!
Our CJHS Choir had a busy weekend as students participated in Region Clinic in Russellville on Saturday while our own Mrs. White was guest conductor at a separate Region Clinic in Bentonville. #ContinuingTheLegacy

The Arkansas South Region Junior High Concert Orchestra is currently rehearsing at Conway JH. We have instrumental students from all over central and southern Arkansas working with a guest clinician to make music together, including MANY of our own students from Conway! Come hear them perform Saturday at 3 pm at the James H. Clark Auditorium!

Did you know Student Leadership Council is offering peer tutoring on Monday and Wednesday each week? They meet from 3:15pm-4:00pm and students are responsible for their own transportation to be picked up by 4:00pm. Members of the CJHS Choir Leadership performed the National Anthem at last night’s Blue/White Volleyball game. Now that their Fall competition season is done, our Choir will be performing frequently at ballgames.

FCCLA and FBLA attended the Arkansas Department of Education 6th Annual CTSO Day at the Arkansas State Fair. Career and Technical Student Organizations from across the state came together to promote the importance of Career and Technical Skills for our youth. #ContinuingTheLegacy
