Conway Public Schools is proud to celebrate the dedication and impact of its educators, as 136 teachers across the district have been awarded Merit Pay through the Arkansas Department of Education’s Merit Teacher Incentive Fund, receiving a combined total of $445,500 in recognition of their outstanding work.

This state-funded initiative—created under the LEARNS Act—was designed to recognize and reward Arkansas educators who demonstrate exceptional performance and an unwavering commitment to student achievement.

According to the Arkansas Department of Education:

“The Arkansas Merit Teacher Incentive Fund... rewards exceptional Arkansas educators who demonstrate outstanding performance and a strong commitment to student learning.”

These awards highlight the professionalism, care, and dedication Conway teachers bring to their classrooms each day. From fostering meaningful relationships to driving academic success, their work is making a lasting difference in the lives of students and families.

“We are thrilled to see so many of our teachers recognized in this way,” said Dr. Bryce Bennett, Assistant Superintendent. “This isn’t just a reward—it’s a celebration of the passion, energy, and dedication our educators bring to their classrooms every single day. We’re proud of the impact they make on students, and proud to see the state recognizing their hard work!”

As Conway continues to celebrate excellence in education, the district congratulates each of the 136 recipients and thanks all CPSD teachers for their continued dedication to student success.
