CATS IN COMMUNITY FOOD DRIVE
Our Wampus Cat family is coming together to support Conway Public Schools students and families this summer!
We're collecting non-perishable food items now through July 21 that will be distributed during our Cats in Community Food Giveaway on July 23 in the Conway High School roundabout between 10:00am till 1:00pm or until supplies last. Every donation helps provide food and resources to families in need during the summer months.
Donation Drop-Off Dates: Now till July 21
Drop-Off Locations:
• Conway High School
• Kroger (Prince Street)
• Walmart (Highway 65)
• United Way
Most Needed Items:
• Peanut butter, canned tuna, canned chicken, soups, chili, canned beans, protein snacks
• Mac & cheese, pasta, rice, pasta sauce, instant potatoes, ramen noodles, boxed meal kits
• Canned vegetables, canned fruit, applesauce, crackers, granola bars, cereal, oatmeal packets, pancake mix, breakfast bars
Please ensure all food items are unopened, sealed, and within their expiration date.

Severe Weather Update – CPSD Storm Shelter Info
Conway Public Schools is closely monitoring the weather. We want to remind our community about our 14 multi-purpose storm shelters (safe rooms) located across the district.

Want to request a transfer for the 2026-27 school year? The deadline is June 1.

We want to provide another follow-up regarding the image circulating on social media last night that contained a threatening message.
The Conway Police Department shared:
“At approximately 10:00 p.m., detectives with the Conway Police Department took a 13-year-old female Conway Student into custody in connection with reported threats made on social media.
The juvenile has been charged with Threatening to Commit an Act of Mass Violence on School Property, a Class C felony, and is currently being held at a juvenile detention center.
At this time, no other suspects are believed to be involved.
This incident remains under active investigation.
We appreciate the public’s cooperation and assistance throughout this investigation.”
School will be in session today. The safety and security of our students and staff remain our top priority.
We want to extend our sincere appreciation to the Conway Police Department and our School Resource Officers for their swift response and dedication in handling this situation. Their ability to act quickly and work thoroughly was instrumental in helping ensure the safety of our students and staff.

Calling All BOY Soccer Players (Grades 4–7)!
The Conway High School Soccer Team is hosting a Boys Youth Soccer Night on April 30th at 5:30 PM!
Players who sign up will have the opportunity to play a short 3v3 game during halftime of the Varsity Boys Soccer game.
Don’t miss this chance to play under the lights and be part of the action- sign up here.
Any students who have not been picked up by 3:35 PM will be brought to the front office and must be signed out by a parent or authorized adult.
If you know you will be running late on any occasion, we kindly ask that you call the school office to inform us. This helps us ensure your child is safely accounted for and allows us to plan accordingly.
