📚 Read Across America Week is Coming! 🇺🇸
We are excited to celebrate Read Across America Week next week, March 2–6! This nationwide initiative, led by the National Education Association, encourages children to read and develop a lifelong love of books.
Throughout the week, students may participate in special reading activities, themed dress-up days, guest readers, and classroom celebrations — all designed to make reading fun and engaging!
Read Across America is traditionally celebrated around March 2 in honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday, while also highlighting diverse books and helping every child discover stories they enjoy.
We encourage families to join the celebration by setting aside extra reading time at home. Even 15–20 minutes a day can make a big difference!
We can’t wait to celebrate a wonderful week of reading together! 📖✨

students need to study or prepare for.

CPSD Return to School Update
We are excited to welcome students and staff back to school on Monday, February 2nd, 2026, after a week of closures caused by the recent snow and ice storm.
All schools will operate on normal start times; however, snow bus routes will be in effect to ensure safe transportation for students. Families are encouraged to review snow route information prior to Monday morning.
🔗 Snow Bus Route Information:
CPSD Snow Routes
Our teams have continued working to prepare school campuses for a safe return. They have done a great job with sidewalks but please utilize caution in shaded areas. Also, a big shout out to the City of Conway, Faulkner County, and groups who were also a part of the clearing process. We can not thank you all enough for the hard work!
We will provide updates regarding snow make-up days as soon as that information becomes available.
Thank you for your understanding and support. We look forward to a smooth return to school on Monday.

⚠️ School Closing
Conway Schools and offices will be closed Friday, January 30th, 2026.
While the warmer temperatures over the past two days have helped improve some conditions, travel throughout the district including access to side streets, driveways, and neighborhoods continues to be impacted.
Our crews are continuing to work diligently to clear each of our campuses and are preparing for a safe return to school soon.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we prioritize safety and continue to monitor conditions.
