We are excited to welcome you to school tomorrow morning for our first day of the 2023-24 school year. Students in grades 1-4 may go to their classrooms beginning at 7:45 am. Kindergarten will start at 9 am for the first day only. Parents may walk their children to class on the first day of school. We will have all of our staff and teachers available to help get our students to their rooms.
If you are dropping your children off in the car line please adhere to the following guidelines:
•Pull all the way forward and do not stop in front of the door
•Children must exit the vehicle from the passenger side to avoid a potentially dangerous situation
•Please move younger siblings car seats to the driver's side
•Parents should pull into a side parking spot if they need to help their child get out of the vehicle.
•Park in the side parking spots if walking up and avoid walking across the lanes of moving traffic. This is very dangerous.
•Please put down your cellphone. Only hands free cell phone use is allowed by law in school zones.
Thank you for helping us with these important procedures. Working together we can all help ensure a smooth and safe transition back to school.

Big thanks to Salem UMC for providing grilled hotdogs, chips, and water this afternoon at our Meet and Greet. So we encourage our families to bring their appetite!!
Can you feel OUR excitement? We can't wait to see all of our new and returning JLM families. Students may bring their school supplies. Nurse Jennifer will be available to accept student medication. This is a drop-in event beginning at 3:45 pm and ends at 6:00 pm.
IMPORTANT MESSAGE: CPSD and local authorities will be conducting a crisis and safety drill at Julia Lee Moore Elementary today starting at 8:30am. JLM campus will be closed to the public until 3:30pm.
Returning Registration is now open! Snapcodes are currently being resent to the guardian email on file. Please feel free to contact your child's school if you need help or more information!
Hey parents and guardians! 📣 We're excited to announce that returning registration for the upcoming academic year is in full swing! 🎒 Snapcodes, the unique registration codes for each student, have started going out and will be sent over the next few days.
⏰ Important: If you haven't received your child's snapcode by August 1st, please make sure to contact your child's school. We want to ensure a smooth registration process for everyone, and our team will be more than happy to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.
