Reminders for the JLM drop-off and dismissal:
🏷️Please remember to keep your JLM Car Tags on display the entire time you are on our campus. If you do not have a car tag, please let us know.
🐶Please leave pets at home. We do not expect dogs to be on campus during drop off or dismissal.
1️⃣ When dropping off or picking up: Always pull up to the line. Do not stop at the front door.
🫷🏼All car riders are dropped off in the front of JLM in the mornings.
🫷🏼Students must wait in your car if there is no adult on duty in the morning.
🫷🏼All kindergarten students and their siblings are picked up in the back.
🚨🚨 Younger siblings should have car seats installed on the driver's side. For the safety of your child, teach your child to only exit the car on the passenger side.
⌚Car riders must be picked up by 3:40pm each day.

JLM Bus Info: This year JLM students on Irby and Tyler routes will have our very own Instructional Facilitator, Mrs. Albert, and our Media Specialist, Mrs. Epps, driving them home in the afternoons. All of our students are familiar with these two ladies and they are excited to be taking them home!
👉AM Bus 9: Driver Nicole Martin; PM Bus 79: Driver Jennifer Epps-- Route: Salem/Sunrise, Tyler/Flintstone, Tyler/Steeple, Tyler/Fair Oaks, and Tyler/Brier Springs.

⌚JLM afternoon buses will leave at 3:15pm.
🚨Bus 112 will ONLY pick up Grades 5-7 on Meadowlake and deliver them directly to Simon each day. They will no longer come to JLM.

🍎Incoming Kindergarten Students🌟
Conway Public Schools will prepare Kindergarten students to begin their first year in education. This year, beginning August 19, 2024, all kindergarten students will participate in Wampus Kitty Kinder Camp!
Week of August 12 - Open House (check your school’s schedule for date/time - link below)
During Open House, you and your child will meet all of the kindergarten teachers, administrators, tour the school, and Kindergarten classrooms. Your child will have an opportunity to meet other children, so they recognize some familiar faces on the first day of school!
August 19 - First Day of School
Kindergarten students will begin at 9:00 a.m. on the first day. We welcome parents and guardians to walk your child into the building and bring them to the designated area.
August 19-23 - Wampus Kitty Kinder Camp
During the first week of school, Kindergarten students will spend time with each Kindergarten teacher in a classroom. They will participate in a variety of fun activities, learn their school and classroom procedures, routines, and meet new friends and classmates. We will learn your child’s strengths and areas where they excel by administering the district Kindergarten Readiness Assessments.
August 23 - Teacher Reveal!
At the conclusion of Wampus Kitty Kinder Camp, your child will bring home a scratch off card revealing their assigned Kindergarten teacher for the school year!
August 26 - Welcome to Class!
Your child will report to their classroom to begin a wonderful year of learning with their assigned teacher. We welcome you to walk your child to class the first day!

With the start of a new school year quickly approaching, we wanted to share with our families our updated schedule. The doors will be open at 7:30 am for students getting dropped off to eat breakfast. Students will go to their classes at 7:45 am. School will begin promptly at 8:00. Students who are not in their seats at 8 am will be considered tardy.
