The JLM Walk-a-Thon event is this Friday, May 10th! Please turn in any money raised for the event by Thursday, May 9th. Any student who raises $100 or more will have the chance to throw a ball to dump a bucket of water on a teacher! The money raised will go towards new playground equipment! Prizes for the class that raises the most money, the student that raises the most money, and the student that completes the most laps! Check out the JLM Walk-a-Thon schedule. JLM Kindergarten will go to Sonshine Academy from 9:30 to 11:00. Due to the rain, we will NOT go to the park. Instead we return to school for lunch in our classrooms. Parents are welcome to have lunch with us in our classrooms.

Parents, our K-2nd grade students will be taking the state-mandated NWEA tests this week. K & 1st test Tues-Wed 4/30 & 5/1. 2nd tests Thurs-Fri 5/2 & 5/3. Students should drink plenty of water, eat nutritious foods, and have enough rest. We ask that they arrive to school on time, & arrange doctor visits for afternoon.
