First grade students are becoming independent library users. This week in library, they learned how to use the OPAC to search for books and find them on the shelves. We love watching these skills grow. 📖✨

Caught these third grade students making the most of every moment by reading during dismissal. When reading happens anywhere and everywhere, you know a love of books is growing. 💙📚

We need your help! Please see the flyer below on ways you can help us support our students.

Officer Slayton took time out of his day to read his very own book to our 3rd graders! We loved having him share his story with our students. 📚✨

Fourth graders worked together to explore the events leading up to the American Revolution and placed them in order on a class timeline.

Enjoying the warm weather in January!

Hey Friend! Let's Match! #twinning

A big thank you to Mr. Hendricks for coming to Vann and giving our 4th grade students an engaging introduction to their reading module! 📚✨👏

Congratulations to our December Teacher of the Month, Audrey Cooper! Thank you for all of your hard work, the support you provide to teachers, and the many behind-the-scenes tasks you handle so well. We are grateful for you!

🎉🎊🥳

Vann students got to end the week with some sing-a-long time with Mr. Dooley 🎤🎶

It was a fun-filled day of holiday parties at Marguerite Vann this week! ❄️

Kindergarten picture fun! They are all ready for the holiday break!

Shout out to Mr. Wright and Mr. German's D3/G3 students who volunteered to help with Marguerite Vann's Winter Family Fun Night on Dec. 16th! This is the second year in a row they have been able to do this. They helped set up prior to the event, helped run the Ornament Design Station for Vann students and their families, and stayed after to help put up chairs, materials, and sweep! These students have developed a heart for serving others! We are very proud of our D3 and G3 students!

Thank you to everyone who came to the Winter Wonderland Family Night! It was great to see so many of our families there.

Twinning Tuesday!
