We had an incredible Viking Day assembly last week. Our students were recognized with character awards for demonstrating care towards others.
We were also honored to have a musical composer speak to the students about the power of music and creativity, followed by a live performance that captivated everyone.

Today, our second graders had the amazing opportunity to welcome Craig O’Neill on his Reading Road Trip! He spent the morning sharing his love of reading with our students and introduced them to All the Dogs in the Neighborhood, one of this year’s Arkansas Diamond Award nominees.
Our students will be casting their votes for their favorite book in May, and Craig O’Neill helped build excitement for this special event! A huge thank you to him for inspiring our young readers and making today so memorable.

📚 Celebrating a Love for Reading! 📚
Our students have been diving into books! It’s amazing to see their enthusiasm and curiosity grow with every page they turn. Reading not only strengthens their minds but also sparks creativity and imagination.
These 3rd and 4th grade students represented Marguerite Vann at the district chess tournament today. Everyone had a blast and came away with at least 1 win! We’re so proud of the effort they have put into crafting their skills this year!
Due to the expected weather this coming Friday, we have decided to move the Viking 5K to next week, on March 21st, at 10am. If you would like to volunteer to help with the 5K event click the link below.
