Vann staff got to celebrate our teacher interns today, Ms. Jenkins, Ms. Givens, and Coach Herring. All 3 of them have been a wonderful addition to our school for this semester. We wish them all the best as they get set to graduate soon!
Strain Photography will be at Vann on Wednesday, December 4, for retakes & make up pictures. If your student needs retakes, please return entire picture package with a note about what needs to be corrected. Your student will be rephotographed and a new picture packet will be sent home within a couple of weeks. If your student was absent or not enrolled at Vann on our original picture day (October 29), they will be photographed on Wednesday for our yearbook. If you wish to purchase prints, please contact the studio directly.

Last week, students participated in STACK UP Days by stacking cups in PE. Our Vann family collected over 1,000 items to stack for a cause and help members of our community. Thank you, Soul Food Cafe Mission, for partnering with us and pouring into our schools and our community! #bettertogether

Several Vann staff members went to eat at Cracker Barrel before going to see the movie, “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”. It was a great time of fun and fellowship.
4th graders collected and analyzed natural elements from the playground with stereomicroscopes. They discovered aphids, caterpillars, tiny crystals, and more! It was a beautiful afternoon for science! 🪲🐛🔬
