🌟 Wampus Cat Wednesday: Where Are They Now? 🌟 This week, we’re excited to spotlight Brandon Ruhl, Class of 2001! Brandon is still living in Conway and pursuing a successful career in architecture. He is now an owner of Taggart Architects, one of Arkansas’s largest firms, licensed in 32 states. School Memories: Brandon’s friendships and teachers, especially his high school drafting teacher, Mr. Mathis, made a lasting impact. Mr. Mathis inspired him to pursue his career, while Officer King helped keep him on track. Personal Highlights: Brandon married his high school sweetheart, and now their children are Wampus Cats, too! Favorite Teacher: Mr. Mathis was a major influence, and Officer King’s ongoing involvement in CPSD continues to inspire him. Advice for Students: “Shoot for the moon. 🌟 Wampus Cat Wednesday: Where Are They Now? 🌟 This week, we’re excited to feature Quinnette Wright (King), Class of 2009! Quinnette works at a pediatric clinic in Conway as an LPN and is currently pursuing her RN degree online through ASTATE Jonesboro. She has been married for seven years and has two daughters. Outside of her career and schooling, she has a side business making t-shirts and welcome signs and is actively involved in mentoring teen moms through Deliver Hope. School Memories: Quinnette loved the hyped pep rallies at Conway High, homecoming activities, and the Career Center, which she feels prepared her for where she is today. Personal Highlights: High school fun, pep rallies, and being part of the Class of ‘09 stand out for Quinnette. Favorite Teacher: Mrs. Beene, her 1st grade teacher. Advice for Students: “Always be you, never follow the crowd, and go for your dreams. He’s married to Olivia, and they have a wonderful son, Greyson. Matthew works at NexGen Controls in Conway, where he’s advanced from utilizing his drafting skills to a production management role. School Memories: Matthew loved the variety of tools and opportunities available at CHS, which allowed him to explore different career paths and figure out his future direction. The Career Center provided a unique opportunity to try out different fields, while the supportive teachers and staff showed genuine care for the students. 🌟 Wampus Cat Wednesday: Where Are They Now? 🌟 This week, we’re excited to spotlight Koni Garrett Wade, Class of 1980! Koni moved to Phoenix after 10 years in welding at Virco and transitioned into law enforcement, earning a degree while working with the Phoenix PD and at the men’s prison. After five years, she started a successful 26-year career in sales, specializing in mobile veterinary clinics and police command trucks, achieving #1 sales for 24 of those years. Koni is married to Jim Wade, a retired special education teacher, and they have one daughter, Amra, and a grandson, Lucas. After 30 years away, Koni recently moved back to Conway and is thrilled to be home! School Memories: Koni loved Conway schools, starting with Mrs. Wilson in 1st grade. She made many lasting friendships. Personal Highlights: Koni received awards in business classes and was recognized in the school newsletter for being the only female in Mr. Brice’s refrigeration and repair classes. Favorite Teacher: Mr. Bill Brice. Advice for Students: “ENJOY IT!
