CPSD is delighted to participate in the momentous unveiling of the UCA Commitment program. Today, we witnessed the introduction of the UCA Commitment by Dr. Houston D. Davis, President of UCA, which stands as a pioneering initiative offering a clear pathway to a Debt-Free Degree for incoming Arkansas freshmen commencing in the Fall of 2024.
Superintendent Dr. Collum is excited about how this initiative will significantly expand the horizons of opportunities available to our students here at CPSD.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved colleague and Conway High School Secretary, Rebecca Kelley, who has served the Conway Public School District for the past 28 years. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, and the entire CPSD community during this difficult time. Rebecca's dedication and contributions will always be remembered, and her presence will be deeply missed. May her memory serve as a source of inspiration for us all.
The Theodore Jones Hub has now been moved to Simon Middle School. All secondary students that are walkers and car riders to Theodore Jones will need to be at Theodore Jones at 7:15 am to catch shuttle buses to Simon to make their transfer connections. Students that normally walk or are dropped off at Simon for transfers will need to be there at 7:25 am to catch shuttle buses to their schools.
On Friday August 11, CPSD held a City Wide Crisis Response Drill. This drill was to ensure CPSD and first responders plan, drill, discuss, debrief and adjust emergency scenarios annually to ensure communication and response times are as effective and efficient as possible. The day was marked a success and the Team work was remarkable between our first responders and staff. Thank you to the JLM Administrative Team and staff, Campus level Administrators from around the district, District Level Team, SRO's, CPD, CFD, FCSO, and Pafford. We will have more information coming out soon as we continue to keep Safety a priority here at CPSD. #ChampionsForKids

IMPORTANT MESSAGE: CPSD and local authorities will be conducting a crisis and safety drill at Julia Lee Moore Elementary today starting at 8:30am. JLM campus will be closed to the public until 3:30pm.
On July 28th, CPSD welcomed 80 new employees to the district at our New Employee Orientation. The new employees were welcomed by Dr. Jeff Collum, Superintendent, and then were busy gaining knowledge about the district as well as getting themselves set up for the first day of school! At our previous School Board meeting Coach Matt Page, our Boys head soccer coach, was presented with our Wampus Cat Pride Award. He won this year’s AAA Lowell Manning Award. Coach Page was presented his award at the AAA All Star Games in June. This award is given to the state’s Most Outstanding Coach among all sports that the AAA offers here in Arkansas. Each year, this award is voted on by all of the coaches across the state of Arkansas. Congratulations Coach Page! #Championsforkids
