Students can stop by the school anytime during this window to pick up their class schedule.

🎒 5th Grade Cat Camp
📅 Friday, August 8
🕐 1:00 p.m.
This orientation is for both students and parents. Join us to learn more about life at Courtway, meet some of our staff, and get familiar with the building before the first day of school!

📵 Cell Phone Free Zones
Middle school is a time to focus on learning, growing, and building strong connections. To support this—and in line with state law—students are not allowed to use personal electronic devices (cell phones, AirPods, smartwatches) during the school day. Devices must be turned off and kept in lockers or backpacks.

✅ Student Expectations:
Students must keep devices off and stored—no use during the school day. Devices may be accessed after the final bell.

SPECIAL RECORDS TO BE DESTROYED On July 7, 2025, the Conway Public School District will destroy Special Education records of students who graduated, moved or were dismissed from Special Education services in the district between January 1, 2019 and June 30, 2019. This process is carried out in compliance with federal and state laws. Students, parents and/or guardians may obtain any data from folders prior to July 7, 2024, by calling the Special Education office at (501) 450-6634, extension 0303 or emailing at records@conwayschools.info.

📣 Courtway Middle School is excited to welcome Mr. Brad Etters back—this time as our new principal! Mr. Etters has served Conway Public Schools since 1998 as a high school math teacher, district math specialist, and instructional facilitator. He returned to Conway High School as assistant principal in 2019, and now he's coming home to CMS, where he previously served as an instructional facilitator. He holds a Master of Arts in Mathematics Education and an Education Specialist degree, and brings a wealth of experience and a heart for students to our campus. Outside of school, Mr. Etters enjoys traveling with his wife and two children. Help us give him a warm Courtway welcome! 💙 #CWAYisTheWay #AscendToExcellence

📢 Report cards go home tomorrow! If your student won’t be at school, report cards can be picked up in the front office through Friday, May 30. #AscendToExcellence #CWAYisTheWay

If your child receives prescription medication(s), including emergency medication and/ or epi pen at school, the medication must be picked up by MAY 23rd at 3pm. ONLY inhalers will be sent home with students. Nothing can be saved for next school year. Any medication not picked up by the last of school will be appropriately discarded. The GT classes have been diving into the science of bubbles! 🫧 They explored how to create the best bubble solution using polymers like glycerin and corn syrup. Our amazing admin team spoiled us rotten all week for Teacher Appreciation Week! From a nacho bar on Monday to Whole Hog barbecue on Wednesday, plus cookies from Cross Creek.
