Bell to Bell, No Cell 🚫
As a reminder, CPSD students are expected to follow our “Bell to Bell, No Cell” expectations during the school day.
📌 A student is not considered to be in possession of a personal electronic device if:
It’s stored in their bag (and not accessed),
It’s stored in a locker (and not accessed), or
It’s stored in their vehicle (and not accessed) — except as permitted by law.
📲 Follow-up for Infractions:
1️⃣ First Violation: Device Confiscation, Warning, Parent Contact, Student Pick-Up
2️⃣ Second Violation: Device Confiscation, Parent Contact, Detention, Parent Pick-Up

📵 Cell Phone Free Zones
Middle school is a time to focus on learning, growing, and building strong connections. To support this—and in line with state law—students are not allowed to use personal electronic devices (cell phones, AirPods, smartwatches) during the school day. Devices must be turned off and kept in lockers or backpacks.
✅ Student Expectations:
Students must keep devices off and stored—no use during the school day. Devices may be accessed after the final bell.

SPECIAL RECORDS TO BE DESTROYED
On July 7, 2025, the Conway Public School District will destroy Special Education records of students who graduated, moved or were dismissed from Special Education services in the district between January 1, 2019 and June 30, 2019. This process is carried out in compliance with federal and state laws. Students, parents and/or guardians may obtain any data from folders prior to July 7, 2024, by calling the Special Education office at (501) 450-6634, extension 0303 or emailing at
records@conwayschools.info.

📣 Courtway Middle School is excited to welcome Mr. Brad Etters back—this time as our new principal!
Mr. Etters has served Conway Public Schools since 1998 as a high school math teacher, district math specialist, and instructional facilitator. He returned to Conway High School as assistant principal in 2019, and now he's coming home to CMS, where he previously served as an instructional facilitator.
He holds a Master of Arts in Mathematics Education and an Education Specialist degree, and brings a wealth of experience and a heart for students to our campus.
Outside of school, Mr. Etters enjoys traveling with his wife and two children.
Help us give him a warm Courtway welcome! 💙

If your child receives prescription medication(s), including emergency medication and/ or epi pen at school, the medication must be picked up by MAY 23rd at 3pm. ONLY inhalers will be sent home with students. Nothing can be saved for next school year. Any medication not picked up by the last of school will be appropriately discarded. 🎓💙 Honoring a Legacy of Service 💙🎓
Conway Public Schools celebrated our 2025 retirees yesterday with a special luncheon recognizing 25 incredible individuals who have dedicated their lives to education—some with over 36 years of service to CPSD!
Superintendent Dr. Jeff Collum shared words of gratitude and encouragement, reminding retirees that they’ve “run the race well,” made a lasting difference, and have an exciting new chapter ahead.
👏 To those who attended—and those who couldn’t—thank you for your years of service. You will always be part of the Wampus Cat Family!
