✨ A huge thank you to Bras for Girls for their incredible generosity! ✨

This amazing non-profit organization donated 70 brand new sports bras to our Lady Cat Basketball Program 🏀🐾. Because of their support, every Lady Cat from 8th–12th grade received a new sports bra.

We are so grateful for organizations like Bras for Girls who empower young female athletes and make a real difference in their journey. 🚾 🏀 💙

Mr. Cullum's AP World History students embraced creativity to develop non-linguistic representations of a complex historical debate about the Mongols. Students had fun working in groups to discuss historical documents and analyze various perspectives. CHS Social Studies continues to strive for innovative educational opportunities!

🔥 Mrs. Bailey’s Organic Chemistry students kicked off their very first lab with a bang!
In this experiment, students created acetylene gas by reacting calcium carbide with water. They then ignited the gas, producing a flame, carbon dioxide, and water—all while seeing firsthand how hydrocarbons undergo basic types of reactions.

The Buddy Harding Award is presented each year to an Arkansas high school coach who demonstrates excellence, leadership, and dedication to the game. Tonight, at the UCA vs. UAPB football game, Lady Cat Head Coach Ashley Hutchcraft was honored as this year’s recipient! 💙 Named in honor of longtime coach Buddy Harding, the award is presented by the Harding family and the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity to recognize coaches who leave a lasting impact on high school athletics. Coach Hutchcraft also makes history as the first female coach to ever receive this prestigious honor. 🚾🏀

Conway Cross Country competed at their first meet at the Bob Gravette Invitational at Ouachita Baptist University, and both girls and boys had great results.

CHS is one of the FIRST high schools in Arkansas to partner with UALR on a pilot concurrent Cyber Security course—giving our students a complete pathway in Information Technology and Security with industry-aligned credentials in a High Demand, High Wage (H2) field. 🔐💻

We’re also one of the FIRST high schools in the state to become an authorized OpenEDG partner, which allows students to prepare for and earn an industry-recognized Python Programming credential. 🐍⚡

Both of these opportunities mean our Wampus Cats can graduate job ready and prepared for high-demand careers. 💙🤍
