Our Patient Care Technician students were putting their skills into action as they practiced responding to active emergencies. From pushing the stretcher and providing assisted breathing to performing CPR, these students were getting valuable hands-on experience preparing for real-world situations. 🩺❤️🩹
Learning by doing—and building the confidence and skills needed to care for others! 💪
Last week, Ms. Bailey’s Accelerated Chemistry students worked together to sort and group sentences, then synthesized their own descriptions of each group. After comparing their ideas, the class reached a shared understanding of the difference between measurements (quantitative evidence) and observations (qualitative evidence).
And they got to put our new whiteboards to use during this vertical learning activity! 📝🔬
We love seeing students collaborate, think critically, and build their understanding together! 💙

Yesterday, CHS hosted our annual Club Fair, giving students the chance to explore all the ways they can get involved on campus!
🎉 28 different clubs and organizations showed up during lunch to share information, answer questions, and help students find their perfect fit.
And even with the Arkansas heat turning up the temperature, our clubs were out there making sure students had the opportunity to discover something new. ☀️💙

A new course at Conway High School is giving students the opportunity to explore student officiating—and they got a special lesson from someone who knows the world of Arkansas athletics inside and out!
Former Conway teacher and current Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) representative Dax Hill visited with our students to talk about the AAA, the role of officials, and what it takes to make the right call on the field. He also gave students a hands-on lesson in positioning for baseball and softball officiating. 👏
And students didn't leave empty-handed! Mr. Hill provided them with whistles, AAA official coins, and baseball and softball rule books to help them continue learning and preparing for their new officiating opportunities. 📖🪙📣
We're excited to see where this new course takes our students as they develop leadership, confidence, communication, and real-world skills—all while learning to keep the game going! 🐾💙

GIFTED & TALENTED REFERRALS ARE NOW OPEN
Fall Testing Cycle
Students currently in 3rd grade or above may be referred for Gifted & Talented consideration. A referral begins the evaluation process and does not guarantee identification.
A student may benefit from referral when they learn quickly and make meaningful connections, think deeply, creatively, or in unusual ways, show advanced reasoning, curiosity, or problem-solving, or need greater depth, complexity, or academic challenge.
No special preparation is needed. Gifted & Talented identification is based on multiple measures.

With an increase in photo requests this year, Conway Schools Athletics is tightening expectations around playing areas to protect student-athlete safety and privacy.
All photographers (including students) must get prior approval from an Athletic Director to enter sideline areas.
Approved media MUST be on the official pass list. You will enter through the “Pass Gate”.
A camera does NOT equal a free ticket.
Requests must be submitted/received by Wednesday of the requesting game week. Please send your request to goinsm@conwayschools.info.
Someone from the office will let you know if your request is approved!
