CATS IN COMMUNITY FOOD DRIVE

Our Wampus Cat family is coming together to support Conway Public Schools students and families this summer!

We're collecting non-perishable food items now through July 21 that will be distributed during our Cats in Community Food Giveaway on July 23 in the Conway High School roundabout between 10:00am till 1:00pm or until supplies last. Every donation helps provide food and resources to families in need during the summer months.

Donation Drop-Off Dates: Now till July 21

Drop-Off Locations:
• Conway High School
• Kroger (Prince Street)
• Walmart (Highway 65)
• United Way

Most Needed Items:
• Peanut butter, canned tuna, canned chicken, soups, chili, canned beans, protein snacks
• Mac & cheese, pasta, rice, pasta sauce, instant potatoes, ramen noodles, boxed meal kits
• Canned vegetables, canned fruit, applesauce, crackers, granola bars, cereal, oatmeal packets, pancake mix, breakfast bars

Please ensure all food items are unopened, sealed, and within their expiration date.

Parking permits will be available during schedule pickup on a first-come, first-served basis. If permits remain, they may also be purchased during Open House (August 12, 4:00–7:00 p.m.) or later through the main office.

Cost: $25 (cash or check only)

New this year: Parking spaces will no longer be assigned. Students may park in any designated student parking space.

Please bring:

✔️ Vehicle information (license plate number, make/model, and color)

Students age 16 or older are required to have a second dose of the meningococcal vaccine (MCV4) if their first dose was received before age 16. This is a state-mandated requirement for school attendance.

📚✨ This summer, Conway High School was proud to host Arkansas AIMS for a week of incredible professional development focused on strengthening teaching and learning across Arkansas.

More than 300 math, science, and English educators from districts across the state — alongside our own Conway educators — joined us for content-specific learning designed to deepen content knowledge, align instruction to Arkansas standards, and help prepare students for ATLAS testing.

We appreciate the opportunity to continue strengthening our partnership with Arkansas AIMS and value the important work being done to support educators through meaningful, content-specific professional learning. 🤝💙
