3rd graders learned and discussed what makes a science fruit. Students went in search of seeds in their plants. They discussed how some plants are science fruits and some are science vegetables according to if they have seeds. 🍪Friday was a BIG day in First Grade. 🍪 For the last few weeks, they have been learning all about our government (local, state, and national), government services, and how our leaders are voted in! They had their first Great Cookie Election! As if eating cookies all morning wasn't cool enough, OUR MAYOR, Mr. Bart Castleberry joined them for the fun! After tasting each cookie, each kiddo made a tough decision and voted for their favorite cookie to be their official Class Cookie! Ms. Wahrer's Class Cookie: OREO! Mrs. Dye's Class Cookie: OREO!
