After learning about grams and kilograms, 3rd grade students worked in small groups to estimate the mass in grams of classroom objects. The students then met back with their teacher and the whole group to check the actual weight in grams using a scale. Great work 3rd grade! #IBtheplace2B #Ascend #AscendingtoExcellence #cpsdascends

3rd graders learned about structure and design in science. They designed a structure that could withstand the big bad wolf or a hair dryer!
