In preparation for our Veteran’s Day-themed musicals, Mrs. Parker is collecting photos of our students’ veteran family members to include in a special musical tribute. If you have a family member (whether past or present) who has served in the military, we would love to honor them in our programs. Please have all photos turned in by October 17th. Strain Photography will be on-site for Fall Picture Day on Wednesday,October 9th.Sessions will begin immediately following breakfast, so please ensure that students arrive on time. Mrs Jackson’s class is enjoying science time this year.  Her students have leaned about the scientific process and concepts.  They have been studying life cycle models and comparing different life cycles! #IBtheplace2B #Ascend #AscendingtoExcellence #cpsdascends

3rd graders learned and discussed what makes a science fruit. Students went in search of seeds in their plants. They discussed how some plants are science fruits and some are science vegetables according to if they have seeds.
