🍪Friday was a BIG day in First Grade. 🍪 For the last few weeks, they have been learning all about our government (local, state, and national), government services, and how our leaders are voted in! They had their first Great Cookie Election! As if eating cookies all morning wasn't cool enough, OUR MAYOR, Mr. Bart Castleberry joined them for the fun! After learning about grams and kilograms, 3rd grade students worked in small groups to estimate the mass in grams of classroom objects.
