Ruth Doyle Quiz Bowl competed in the Arch Ford Finals yesterday. These students showed off their quick thinking and impressive knowledge. Even more impressive was the way they represented our school- with excellent sportsmanship and teamwork. We are so proud of them! 🏆🎉💙

Students grated a variety of cheeses, measured ingredients, and worked together to bring it all together. The best part...Sharing our cheesy creation with our administrators!

Coach Holloway is the definition of what it means to lead from the front. She invests in her athletes — not just in wins and scoreboards — but in confidence, discipline, grit, and heart.
She teaches:
• Accountability when it’s hard
• Teamwork when it matters
• Perseverance when things don’t go as planned
• Respect on and off the court
Her athletes know she believes in them — and because she believes in them, they believe in themselves.
She shows up early.
She stays late.
She pushes her students to be their best — and then celebrates them when they get there.
At RDMS, we talk about pride, ownership, and culture. Coach Holloway lives it daily. Whether in the classroom, the locker room, or the hallway, she represents what it means to be a champion for kids.
And today’s celebration is even more special — her parents and sister were able to join her for the photo that will be shared with this announcement. It’s a beautiful reminder that behind every great educator is a family who helped shape the character, work ethic, and heart we see poured into our students every day.

8' grade dance tryouts for the 2026-2027 school year will be held March 2-5 in the North Gym at the Conway Junior High Campus.
The tryout packet can be found on the Conway School District website by following these steps:
• Click on the Athletics link
• Select CPSD Athletics Homepage
• Click Tryout Info
This will take you to a google doc. Under the Tryout Information Junior High Section, look for Dance (8) and click the link to access all information needed for tryouts.
All required forms, including a current physical uploaded to DragonFly Max, must be completed and submitted correctly by February 27* in order to participate.

5th grade GT student, Jaxon, competed in the Economics Arkansas YES Expo Day in Little Rock today!
In the fall, Jaxon created an original product- the Case Safe pencil case- and wrote a detailed business plan. His plan was selected as one of the Top 25 in the state of Arkansas out of 75 submissions!
Today, Jaxon confidently spoke with judges, engaged customers, and even made a few sales! Congratulations on your hard work, Jaxon!!! 🧠💪💰🏆

Feeling especially grateful for our community today. Our students had a wonderful opportunity to practice real-world skills through a special coffee cart for our staff, and it would not have been possible without the generosity of Shadrachs Coffee.
Because of their kindness, our students were able to take drink orders, prepare and serve hot and iced coffees, and even make muffins for the staff. It was an incredible hands-on experience that helped them build confidence, communication skills, and teamwork.
The teachers at Ruth Doyle Middle School definitely appreciated the coffee, but even more than that, we appreciated seeing our students shine.
A sincere thank you to Shadrachs for supporting our students and showing such kindness to our staff. We truly love and value this community.
