The RDMS Elementary Quiz Bowl team participated in a practice tournament last week. They won all 5 practice games, and are looking forward to the upcoming regional tournament! Great job!
RDMS WIN time resulted in game time with Willcutt and Daniel’s class!

Math class got a little sweeter today!
Ms. Starr's 6th graders are using gummy bears to explore ratios. They are counting colors, comparing groups, and showing that math is all about real-world connections.

This is a reminder about our RDMS morning drop-off procedures to help ensure a smooth and safe start to the school day.
Students must be in their classrooms and seated by the 7:55 a.m. tardy bell. Starting Monday, January 12, school doors will lock at 7:52 a.m. After that time, the only entrance available will be the main office doors.
Any student who is dropped off after 7:52 a.m. must be signed in at the office by a guardian before heading to class.
Thank you for your support in helping our students start the day on time and ready to learn.

Ruth Doyle Girls Players of the Week: Chelsea Brown and Greer Harris

Mrs. Willcutt and Mrs. Daniel’s classes read stories this week about New Year Celebrations around the world. We learned about many different traditions. One we explored today was making New Years Ramen. We read that eating long noodles for the New Year symbolizes good luck, longevity, and prosperity in many Asian cultures, especially Chinese and Japanese traditions, where longer noodles represent a longer life. Here’s to a long and healthy 2026!

Proof that even a Grinch can love Christmas (and cookies)! Mrs. Willcutt's and Mrs. Daniel's students created Grinch themed sugar cookies during WIN time. 💚💚

Nothing says pre-holiday fun like a marshmallow tower challenge! Mrs. Daniel's science class gathered toothpicks and marshmallows to see who could build the tallest tower. So much collaboration and a lot of sticky fingers!❄️⛄😊
Students in Ms. Smith's ELA classes presented their reports from novels they read this nine weeks. They also enjoyed some hot chocolate and cookies! 😊👏🍪
