5th grade GT student, Jaxon, competed in the Economics Arkansas YES Expo Day in Little Rock today! In the fall, Jaxon created an original product- the Case Safe pencil case- and wrote a detailed business plan. His plan was selected as one of the Top 25 in the state of Arkansas out of 75 submissions! Today, Jaxon confidently spoke with judges, engaged customers, and even made a few sales! Congratulations on your hard work, Jaxon!!! 🧠💪💰🏆

Feeling especially grateful for our community today. Our students had a wonderful opportunity to practice real-world skills through a special coffee cart for our staff, and it would not have been possible without the generosity of Shadrachs Coffee.

Because of their kindness, our students were able to take drink orders, prepare and serve hot and iced coffees, and even make muffins for the staff. It was an incredible hands-on experience that helped them build confidence, communication skills, and teamwork.

The teachers at Ruth Doyle Middle School definitely appreciated the coffee, but even more than that, we appreciated seeing our students shine.

A sincere thank you to Shadrachs for supporting our students and showing such kindness to our staff. We truly love and value this community.

Snow Day Make-up and Schedule Adjustments effective Tuesday February 17, 2026 Information:

We want to provide an update regarding snow day make-up plans and schedule adjustments across our district. All adjustments outlined below will take effect on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Elementary Schools

There are no schedule adjustments and no additional days to make up for elementary campuses.

Middle Schools

Middle schools have adjusted their schedules but Start and Stop time remain the same. All Middle school campuses will not have any additional days to make up.

Conway Junior High School (CJHS)

CJHS has adjusted its schedule and will not have any days to make up.

9th Grade Start Time: 7:55 a.m.
9th Grade Dismissal Time: 3:35 p.m.
8th Grade Schedule: No changes

Conway High School (CHS)

CHS has adjusted its schedule and will have one make-up day on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

1st Bell: 7:50 a.m.
1st Period Start Time: 7:55 a.m.
Dismissal Time: 3:35 p.m.

There are no changes to bus routes for any campuses.

We appreciate your flexibility and support as we make these adjustments to ensure instructional time is maintained for all students.

RDMS Families,
I need to correct information that was shared on the Washington, DC trip flyer that was recently sent out. Some of the dates listed on the flyer are incorrect.
The interest meeting will be held on February 19 @ 6 PM in the RDMS cafeteria. The $49 sign-up fee will be in effect through February 26. The February 12th date, listed on the flyer, is incorrect.

Parent Teacher Conferences will be Wednesday, February 11th. Conferences will begin at 10:00 Wednesday morning and last until 4:00. Staff will break from 4:00-4:45 for dinner. Conferences will resume at 4:45, and will last until 7:00 that evening. We look forward to seeing our RDMS families!

The Ruth Doyle Elementary Quiz Bowl team competed in the Arch Ford Regional Tournament this week! For the first time EVER, all four Conway Middle School Quiz Bowl teams made it to the semi-finals. The final game saw Carl Stuart vs. Ruth Doyle vying for the title. Ruth Doyle took home 2nd place... but we will return for the Finals on March 12th! Congratulations, Quiz Bowl scholars!

📣 Gifted & Talented Referrals Now Open – Spring Testing Cycle 📣

The district is now accepting parent referrals for Gifted & Talented services for the spring testing cycle.
GT services are designed to support students who demonstrate advanced learning needs in areas such as
reasoning, problem-solving, and creativity. Identification is based on multiple measures and is not something
students need to study or prepare for.
