🎃 Ready for a frightfully fun night? RDMS PTO invites students to the Halloween Dance on Friday, October 30 from 6–8 PM! 👻🕺

📍 Get your ticket during lunch — $5 early bird price or $7 at the door. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

📵Please note: Students will not be allowed to have cell phones in the gym or cafeteria—not because we don’t trust them, but so they can be fully present. A middle school dance should be a place to dance badly, laugh loudly, make memories, and be kids—not worry about who is filming or what’s happening online. For one evening, we’re asking them to put the phones away and enjoy the people standing right beside them.

Our CATS in Community Food Drive is underway, and we need your help! 🥫 Together, we can support Conway Public Schools families by providing food and resources to those in need this Thanksgiving season.

🥫 Sides & Breakfast: Canned vegetables, canned fruit, applesauce, crackers, granola bars, cereal, breakfast bars

Please ensure all food items are sealed and within their expiration dates!

Have you ever seen a classroom turn into a living cell? 🧫✨ Mrs. Sellers ran an amazing kinesthetic lesson for her 6th graders about organelles! • Entry: Students drew UNO cards at the “cell membrane” (represented by Mrs. Sellers) — blue/green passed through, while yellow/red (the “toxic” cells) had to go to the end of the line and draw again. • Students rotated through organelle stations: mitochondria = jumping jacks ⚡️, cell wall = wall sits 🧱, chloroplasts = basking by a lamp to “photosynthesize” 🌞, nucleus = bossing instructions 🧠. • Leaving class: Students drew again — red/yellow were “waste” and expelled (allowed to leave), blue/green stayed useful and redrew. 💡🧬Hands-on + movement = Science that students remember. It was active, memorable, and connected movement to science content. #WeAreRDMS #TeamConway #ActiveLearning
