🎨How amazing is student art when culture and technique come together?

🌶️ In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Mrs. Martinazzi’s 7th-grade art students studied the forms and colors of peppers.

Using the grid method, they carefully recreated their images and applied value and complementary color schemes to produce striking colored-pencil pieces. Students strengthened drawing skills while celebrating the influence of Hispanic culture on art, food, and tradition.

Curious how classrooms turn math into teamwork? 🤔 💯In Mrs. Dacus’s room, WIN students are practicing writing equations to clear a 100 board — building number sense, connecting equations to problem-solving strategies, and supporting one another every step of the way. 👏 We love their persistence and excitement! 💡

Happy National IT Professional Day! Today, we’re giving a huge shoutout to the incredible tech team keeping Conway Public Schools connected.

Let’s be honest, these tech heroes do way more than just fix Chromebooks and reset passwords. They are the digital guardians keeping our entire school network cybersafe and secure every single day. Behind the scenes, they're constantly fending off sneaky phishing attempts, locking down student data privacy, and testing software updates at odd hours so teaching never misses a beat.

Thank you for working hard behind the screens to keep our digital world safe and spinning. You are vital players on Team Conway! 🖥️🐾

Mrs. Daniel's class dove into the properties of matter using a mysterious substance called Oobleck! The kids loved testing and comparing how it acts. It pours like a smooth liquid, but the moment you squeeze it, it turns into a solid ball!
