Today was a great day in our classroom! 🍕
Our students did an amazing job following multi-step directions to create their very own mini pizzas using fresh ingredients they selected on our recent shopping field trip. From start to finish, they showed focus, teamwork, and independence every step of the way.
The best part? Every single student was all smiles after enjoying the delicious snack they worked so hard to make! So proud of their effort and growth—learning skills beyond academic has never tasted so good!

We want to provide another follow-up regarding the image circulating on social media last night that contained a threatening message.
The Conway Police Department shared:
“At approximately 10:00 p.m., detectives with the Conway Police Department took a 13-year-old female Conway Student into custody in connection with reported threats made on social media.
The juvenile has been charged with Threatening to Commit an Act of Mass Violence on School Property, a Class C felony, and is currently being held at a juvenile detention center.
At this time, no other suspects are believed to be involved.
This incident remains under active investigation.
We appreciate the public’s cooperation and assistance throughout this investigation.”
School will be in session today. The safety and security of our students and staff remain our top priority.
We want to extend our sincere appreciation to the Conway Police Department and our School Resource Officers for their swift response and dedication in handling this situation. Their ability to act quickly and work thoroughly was instrumental in helping ensure the safety of our students and staff.

Students used a shopping list to locate and gather ingredients for our four upcoming cooking lessons, practicing important real-world life skills like budgeting, planning, and decision-making—while also reinforcing academic skills along the way.
We were so grateful for the kindness and support shown by the store employees who helped make this experience even more meaningful for our students.
